A hero section for conference, festival, and launch-event sites that sells FOMO the honest way: with numbers. Four panes on void purple, Unbounded display type, and a countdown in signal mint that rolls into place every time it appears - 42 days, 11 hours, 38 minutes until SHIPCONF 26 opens in Lisbon. A stat stack, a speaker cutout row over a drifting topic ticker, and a "DOORS OPEN IN" reprise close the loop like a pulse.
The countdown is the hero element, not a widget in the corner. Three number-roll groups in signal mint Unbounded sit center stage under the SHIPCONF wordmark - the only place mint appears in the whole palette, so the eye goes to the digits first. Each numeral rolls visibly from zero when the pane enters, and the closing pane reprises the same three groups larger under a letterspaced "DOORS OPEN IN", which makes the loop back to the cover read as a heartbeat rather than a restart.
The numbers pane argues like an engineer. "2 DAYS. 40 TALKS. 0 FLUFF." stacks left-aligned in 170px Unbounded, every numeral rolling in with a 250ms stagger, while a violet-to-mint gradient orb drifts on the right at the deepest parallax layer. It is the entire event pitch in seven words, and the rolling digits make even the zero feel like a stat.
The speaker row sells the lineup without a grid of corporate headshots. Four background-removed, chest-up cutouts land with staggered pops across the lower two-thirds, each with a name and handle chip - and behind them an outline-stroke marquee ticker drifts through the talk topics: DEVTOOLS, AI INFRA, DESIGN SYSTEMS, EDGE. The heading above says what every attendee wants to hear: "40 SPEAKERS. ZERO PANELS."
Export to HTML, React, Vue, or Svelte and drop the component into the hero band of your conference site - the 2:1 format is sized for exactly that slot. The four panes autoplay on a 4 to 5 second rhythm, the violet "Get tickets" pill never moves, and the number-roll countdown re-fires on every loop, so the urgency renews itself as long as the visitor watches.
When early-bird pricing ends or the lineup drops, update the countdown digits and re-export. The same file produces the site hero, a video cut for the announcement post, and stills of the stat stack for paid placements - three campaign assets with one set of numbers to keep honest.
The speaker pane works as a standalone reveal: four cutouts popping in over the drifting topic ticker under "40 SPEAKERS. ZERO PANELS." Duplicate the pane for each announcement wave, swap the four cutouts and chips, and export to video for the social drumbeat between now and doors-open.
