A conceptual typography template built on a single design move repeated with variation across seven panes. Each word loses one letter, and an image takes its place - L[image]VE, M[image]ND, GR[image]W - until the final pane fills an entire word with an image through window-type masking. The wordmark "ORBIT" carries the cover and the close. Built on near-white, ink black type, electric cobalt accent, Anton at letter-shape weight, and a body voice that gives each glyph swap a one-line caption: "the verb behind every move."
The defining choice is that the template is a single idea executed with discipline. Pane 1 sets the grammar with "ORBIT" where the O is replaced by a circular sphere cutout - the reader learns the visual move immediately. Pane 2 is "L[rose]VE" with a circular flower image in the O slot and the caption "TO FEEL. the verb behind every move." Pane 3 is "M[candle]ND" with a vertical thin candle image in the I slot, captioned "TO THINK. the verb behind every choice." Pane 4 is "GR[seedling]W" with a sprout in the O slot, captioned "TO BECOME. the verb behind every season." Three panes, three glyph swaps, three meanings. The repetition IS the rhythm.
Pane 5 is the letter mark - a single huge "O" at near-pane-height with an image filling the counter (the negative space inside the round letter). Pane 6 escalates to a compound swap: a two-word phrase with image-swaps in both words, the repetition of the move creating its own rhyme. Pane 7 is the climactic window-type fill - the wordmark "ORBIT" becomes a clipping mask over a scenic landscape, the image visible only through the letterforms. Single-letter swaps escalating to full-word fill across the deck.
Animation reinforces the swap as the moment. Word letters use letter-blur to enter on a stagger; the swapped image-letter uses drop or pop with a 200ms delay so the image lands AFTER the word - the eye catches the swap as the completion of the word. Parallax 1 on the word, 0 on the image (foreground). Pacing 3.5s per pane on autoplay - enough time to read the swap and the caption before the next variation lands. The window-type pane uses letter-blur revealing the masked image slowly, climactic.
When a new brand launches and the visual identity is the story, this template stages it as a typographic essay. Three words, three meanings, three image-letter swaps that escalate to a window-type wordmark reveal. Run the slideshow behind the speaker at the launch event or embed it on the new brand's landing page. The cobalt accent and the disciplined repetition give the brand a single recognisable move audiences remember after one viewing.
Designers and design studios use this template as the opening sequence of a case-study deck. Replace LOVE / MIND / GROW with three values that define the studio's practice (CRAFT / DETAIL / MORE, or BOLD / GOOD / WORK). The window-type pane at the end fills the studio's wordmark with an image from a recent project - a portfolio teaser disguised as a manifesto.
Skincare, plant brands, candle brands, and other product categories with strong photography libraries get extra leverage from the glyph swap - the product image lives inside the word about the feeling it produces. "L[product]VE" or "GR[plant]W" with the product or plant in the O slot reads as the campaign concept in a single frame. Export as video for paid social or as a still sequence for the print campaign.
