Upload Custom Fonts for Accurate Slideshow Previews
Creating slideshows with a consistent visual identity just got even easier. Today, we're excited to introduce custom font upload support for all PaneFlow projects.
#Why Custom Fonts Matter
Whether you're working with a unique brand typeface or a locally hosted font, getting your typography right is essential to maintaining design integrity across your website.
Previously, previewing custom fonts inside PaneFlow wasn't possible unless they were part of the platform's built-in font set. Now, with our new custom font upload feature, you can upload your own .woff, .woff2, or .otf font files directly into your project.
This ensures your slideshow preview matches your live site - no surprises after export or embed.
#How It Works
- Open your PaneFlow project.
- Navigate to the main PaneFlow settings in the right sidebar.
- Choose "Custom" font.
- Upload your custom font file.
Note: The uploaded font will only be used for preview within the editor. It won't be bundled in the export, so be sure to host it on your own site or integrate it via CSS where your slideshow will live.
#When to Use This
Custom font uploads are especially helpful when:
- Your brand uses a licensed or self-hosted font.
- You want a pixel-perfect preview before publishing.
- You're designing slides to be embedded on websites already loading specific fonts.
By mirroring your website's typography in the editor, you can design with confidence and skip the guesswork.
