Design tools live or die on the small stuff - the tiny details you touch a hundred times a day. So lately we've been focused on sanding down those edges in PaneFlow: making it faster to tweak layouts, keep projects organized, and ship slides that feel more "done" with less effort.
This update is a bundle of those quality-of-life improvements. A nicer way to rotate elements, smarter image handling for the web, cleaner pane navigation, better keyboard shortcuts, and a few team-level upgrades like SSO. Nothing huge on its own... but together, they make working in PaneFlow feel noticeably smoother.
Previously, rotating an element meant going to the sidebar, finding the rotation field, and typing in a value. It worked, but it felt... very "2009 design tool".
Now every selected element gets a small circular rotate handle right below its bounding box. Just grab it and drag around to rotate.
Perfect for:
You can now name panes directly from the panes bar. The name shows up in:
This makes it much easier to:
You know the drill: new project, you tweak the first text block, change font, size, color, spacing... then repeat for every new element you add.
Now you can turn any styled element into a project default:
From that point on, every new element of that type in this project will be created with those styles. For example:
This keeps your whole slideshow consistent without fiddling with styles every time.
If you use PaneFlow to power live websites (via CDN/iFrame, Webflow App, or Framer Plugin), images matter a lot for both accessibility and performance. Two upgrades here.
The Image settings dialog now includes an Alt text field.
Use it to:
If you export your slideshow to HTML/React/Vue/Svelte or embed via iFrame, this alt text travels with the image.
Sometimes you upload a huge 4K photo when you really need a 512×512 avatar. That can slow down your page when PaneFlow is embedded.
Inside the same Image settings dialog you can now:
This is especially handy if:
We've added a set of keyboard shortcuts to speed up text formatting and element alignment. Once they're in your muscle memory, they shave seconds off every slide.
Align Element(s) Left: ALTA
Align Horizontal Centers: ALTH
Align Element(s) Right: ALTD
Align Element(s) Top: ALTW
Align Vertical Centers: ALTV
Align Element(s) Bottom: ALTS
These work great when you're fine-tuning layouts or duplicating blocks across panes.
PaneFlow now supports SAML SSO, so your team can log in with existing identity providers (like Okta, Google Workspace, etc.) instead of separate passwords.
Why it matters:
If your company needs SSO enabled, reach out and we'll help you get it set up on your account.
